Well, it's been a great year, 6th grade! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and your hard work. You have made this year so special for me and I will remember you ALWAYS! Especially because I know you're going to visit me next year... everyday... for HISTORY!!
Before we say "goodbye" for the summer, let's share our favorite moments and memories from 6th grade. Share as many as you like!
My favorite part of sixth grade was the field trips! Even though we didn’t go on many I had a blast while it lasted. I learned a lot and had fun with my class.

My favorite part of 6th grade was going on the field trips. They were so fun! I really like the Aquarium of the Pacific. I liked the florescent organisms. It was fun, even though I have been there a lot of times.

My favorite part about 6th grade this year was the Science and Social Studies projects. I learned how to work with other people and facts and information I didn’t know about. It was so much fun and I hope we do projects like this next year in 7th grade with Mrs. Quinly! I'm going to miss being in 6th grade and seeing Mrs. Quinly everyday!!!

My favorite moments in 6th grade were when I would get letters from Mrs. Quinly. I would get them when I would give her little knick-knacks such as erasers and in return, she would give me little letters. I always felt special and appreciated when I would receive them. I also liked when we went on field trips or hung out with her. She is so much fun to be around and I will miss her very much during the summer! :)

My favorite moment in 6th grade was when we gave Mrs. Quinly the Oscar award. That was the best moment of the whole year. We had put so much time and hard work into it. We love her so much and she clearly deserves the best. Marisa and I bought the “Ken” doll; spray painted it and hot glued it to the stand. We were so sneaky and we wanted to give Mrs. Quinly many memories. That was my favorite moment ever, she was so happy, which made us happy. :)

My favorite thing about 6th grade was the sports this year. I was able to play football, basketball, and track for my school. This was my favorite part because I became closer to my friends and had lots of opportunities to make new friends. I was having fun and was keeping fit at the same time. Sports this school year was the main reason why I was always happy and energetic.

I have a bunch of favorite moments in 6th grade, but there is no possible way to choose one. If I had to think of one right now, my favorite moment in 6th grade was when our class was giving speeches on any subject we wanted. People who ran for student council didn’t have to perform a speech, but everyone else did. My favorite speech was when James was Leonidus and he had the most hilarious accent. Another one is when we were talking about cloning the wooly mammoth, and Daniel was giving his reasons why he thought scientist should do it. One of his reasons was. “Because they’re dead!” and Mrs. Quinly goes, “If we clone them they won’t be dead anymore, DOOFUS!”

My favorite moments in 6th grade are very interesting. My favorite moment is finding out that Mrs. Quinly is married to Harry Pottter. This is my favorite because I made it up, and I still bring it up now, even though I invented it in the middle of the 1st trimester. I always have something clever to say about it. I also enjoyed it when I was called a liar by someone I know at recess. I still hold it on her. Last but not least, I found it very interesting when I found out our teacher was in a band. I am still trying to find out… and Mrs. Quinly, I will find out.

My Favorite in Sixth Grade is when I got my awards for Spelling, Social Studies, and Music. When I was working on my last socials studies project with Isabel I was very confident I would get an A. When I ngo to music my music teacher always rtells me that I have a nice voice and I am the strongest singer in the class. This was a good year for me. I also had the best teacher in the world.

I think that going to the aquarium was a great field trip. It is also a great memory I will always carry with me in sixth grade. We got to see every thing from sardines, to jellyfish, to unborn sharks. It was awesome

My favorite moment or memory in 6th grade is probably towards the end of the year. The end of the year was a blast for me and maybe everyone else. We watched movies, had an ice cream party, and we also had class awards. My favorite part of the awards was not my part, but Mrs. Quinly’s part. When the girls in our class gave her the award and flowers for best teacher, everyone was screaming and laughing, and also filled with joy. That day on Tuesday, was my favorite. It will be one of the memories I will never forget.

My favorite moment in 6th grade is the day when Mrs. Quinly put coffee on my head when she thought that I was asleep. When every one started laughing and pointing to my head, I turned around and the coffee spilled off my head, onto my leg and onto the floor. (luckily it was not hot!!!) Mrs. Quinly now thinks that it was the dumbest thing that she ever did!!! I will always miss and remember my 6th grade year!!!!!!!!!

I think that the whole entire year was a life changing experience for me. I think one of the changing parts for me was the Kupcakes for Kenya sale, my Jamba Juice fundraiser, and when I got in student council. It was great to see every body support me and thank you so much for that. I really liked when our class had field trips, it was interesting and fun at the same time. Every day was a great day for me. There was not one day where I wish I was sick and I couldn’t be at school. If it was a bad or happy day it changed me for the better. I would like to thank the 6th grade, my best friends (I’m not going to name names, you know who you are), and Mrs.Quinly (A.K.A. Mrs.Quinquin). Thank you for every day of school and every day was my favorite day. For the last time, thank you and I’m looking afford to 7th grade! Congratulations!

My favorite memory of sixth grade is the projects we did this year in social studies and science. This year I also like the sports events including football, basketball and the jog – o – thon. Also, at the end of the year I enjoyed the last week of school. We hosted our own award ceremony, watched movies, and ate ice cream. During the award ceremony I was awarded the sneakiest student in the class and was called ninja Josh. I loved this school year and became closer to my friends all year long.

My Favorite Memory in Sixth Grade was when we had our awards in class and had ice cream. Mrs. Quinly made a great slideshow of us. Then we gave Mrs. Quinly her presents and she was so happy. That day was one of the very best when we were in sixth grade. I will miss you Mrs. Quinly and I know that everyone else will too. See you next year in Social Studies!!!!

My absolute favorite moments were these….. 1. Mrs. Quinly’s face when she saw her best teacher award and her golden Ken doll, for the Oscar awards. (Hahahah!) 2. Mrs. Quinly’s little letters that she gave me when I gave her a gift ( see the small gifts on her computer). She always wrote really kind comments about the gifts and about me. I really wish we didn’t have to leave 6th grade! :'( 3. Our Ice Cream/Movie/Awards party. That was a lot of fun (even though Justin W.’s cherries tasted a bit strange). I liked my award too (CASSIDY JUDIS-NYLAND, FUTURE BILL GATES). When I won that award it made me want to sing “Billionaire” … I wanna be a billionaire…:) 4. Everything else. My classmates and teacher definitely made for one fantastic year, the best ever! Unfortunately, this year went by fast and we now have to say goodbye…. To Mrs. Quinly as our homeroom teacher…. Thank you Mrs. Quinly and everyone else!

My favorite memory in 6th grade was the jog-a-thon. The jog-a-thon was an event where we jogged our hearts out for an hour and a half around our whole school campus and you can run, sprint, jog, and walk. You can do all this with friends too! It was incredible and exciting and most of all fun. This was the best year ever and sees you next year in social studies Mrs. Quinly.

My favorite part of 6th grade was when we did the Earthquake project in Science. We learned that there were big earthquakes and the magnitude and there depths. My other favorite part was when we did the different chapters in Social Studies because we learned different life styles and we all had fun. Another is when we did the debt for the Parthenon Marble and it was really fun to sort of fight over the marbles.

My best memory of 6th Grade was many different things but my favorite was the social studies project at the end of the year. We got to work in groups. I like working in groups and when we work in groups we do not need to do all the work we have people to help you do the work. When we did this project we could do what ever we want, when I say that I mean make a Power Point (We did that one.), a poster, or put things under the Elmo. Well we had a great year and I love this class. See Ya!

My part of 6th grade was when we learned about Egypt in social studies I learned a lot about Egypt and about the religion they had and all the culture and the pharaohs. My favorite pharaoh was Hatshepsut because first of all Hatshepsut was a girl and she was a good pharaoh and she protected the people. Another thing I liked in 6th grade was in social studies when we did the debates on the Parthenon marbles I had fun with that. Another one in science was when we did the little experiment in science making volcanoes that was fun we had baking soda, vinegar, a cone, and clay that was fun. I had a lot of fun in 6th grade and that was some of the fun I had.

My favorite part in 6th grade was the first week of school. Being more specific, my favorite part was the first and second day of school, when I met everybody new. It is funny to me, thinking about how I am with the other students now, and comparing my feelings and all, to how I was when I first came. It was cool being a new student, even though I was a little shy, but I did always liked this one excuse I had always used and used whenever I got in trouble, sometimes, “but I’m new here.” This class is awesome, go 6th grade, and GO GATORS

My favorite part of 6th grade was when we learned about Greece and when we did a project about citizenship in Athens and we made a small poster and decorated it with drawing of artifacts or any relevance to Ancient Greece.
My favorite part of 6th grade was when we did a project about earthquakes and my group did Kobe, Japan. It was really fun because I kept on laughing and only got 5 minutes worth of video in 5 hours.
A part of 6th grade was enjoyable but yet devastating because in science when we learned about a different natural disaster then it happened in real life.
In 6th grade science I liked learning about volcanoes because we did a science lab project and had baking soda, vinegar, a food coloring and clay wrapped around a cone and put the ingredients together to make an effusive “explosion”.
In S.S we did a debate about the PARTHENON MARBLES. It was fun because we debated about who should keep the marbles.

Another of my favorite moments was when Cole and Nora were on opposing teams on the PARTHENON MARBLE debate. It was super hilarious when Cole and Nora were arguing and they looked like they were about to kill each other. :P
